Just going by what my wife tells me - she says that laughing and snickering at people being killed is sick. (Apparently, “they needed killing” and that their deaths improve the gene pool are not a valid defenses.) And I have to trust her moral compass more than mine.

Of course that just means that I only to go Weasel Zippers when she’s not around...

“...Just going by what my wife tells me ...”

You know, I can understand that. Women “civilize” men. Without them, we generally revert to our more brutish nature.

But...they generally fail to realize that evil people can and will do evil things with NO explanation, and they need to be put down like rabid animals at times. And when those same evil idiots happen to take themselves out in the process without hurting innocent folks, well, as MEN, WE celebrate that. And boldly so.

Because we realize what these selfsame assh*les are capable of, and what they’d likely have done with that bomb they were playing with (or whatever).

We’re different than the women. We’re not the same, no matter how the lefty big mouth fem libs wail, bitch, and caterwaul.

So...the wife can have “the moral compass”...no big deal; they’re all about “feelings” and emotions anyway, and if it makes them “feel better”, fine, good, great...you’ll still be there to protect her and the family at the end of the day, and do the necessary things to keep them safe and secure. It’s our job. And they never even realize it.

We keep the horrors away from those we love, as much as is humanly possible, so they can live relatively free of fear.

I kinda think that’s as it should be, too...
