My dog shakes and won’t get out of my lap. She does the same thing with thunderstorms. We got her a “thundershirt” and give her an organic sedative. This seems to work somewhat.
But I dislike fireworks for a different reason. They make noise and idiots can’t just seem to pop them on the holiday they’re celebrating. They pop the damn things for three days and way too late in the evening. If I wanted to hear “booms” all night I’d move to the Middle East. Or Chicago.
Our local pet store has Calm pills that work wonders on my dog. They contain vivarium root, etc.
