Pelosi seems to recite secondary talking points from dem spin meisters that have been rejected. She doesn’t seem to be able to remember the main ones that Harry Reid or Jay Carney spews, what she remembers are the ones that they probably decided would be stupid to repeat.
I don’t know any explanation for why she does this except that she’s “tarded”.

Reports surfaced Monday that Roberts will read the court`s opinion. One FReeper on another thread expressed concerns the law and mandate will both be upheld, and Roberts will promulgate what the court opines in narrow, limited terms (a little bone tossed at those who still prize freedom) what is allowed under the mandate.
And one other factor that can`t ignored: Obama has a uncanny ability to get what he wants when all the counting is done.
I had a much greater hope the whole law would be tossed... until Monday morning.

I predict the court will strike it down, precisely BECAUSE of Pelosi’s “are you kidding” remark, my reasoning being that the fiction that we are a constitutional republic would be exposed and the respect for the law and the social order would thus be undermined too greatly.

Nobody seems to have the guts to stick to black-and-white, wrong-or-right anymore, so I don’t expect the whole mess will be struck down. I imagine they’ll just dump the mandate. In that case, the Obama administration will spin it as a big victory, the media will play along, and the idiots will buy it.
