I think the people who are deluded are the “debunkers”, whom some seem to consider essential on many of these programs “to provide balance” but who in fact cling to some sort of faith that only the mundane exists.

Years ago, I was listening to some 'expert' on alien abductions on one of the afternoon talkshows. The woman was giving numbers that were incredible.

Later, I took a calculator and 'extrapolated' her numbers. If she were correct, there were something like 20 million abductions.

I think that many abductions might be noticeable.
