Anyone ever heard of a ‘text only’ browser? Seems to me that would solve the problem by only displaying text, and not images.
Here is a tip for Mozilla Firefox users. You can turn off pictures and only text will be displayed. Other browzers have this option too but here are the steps for Firefox.
Go to TOOLS
then click OPTIONS
then click the CONTENT TAB
then de-click the LOAD IMAGES AUTOMATICALLY.
I will also de-click ENABLE JAVASCRIPT if there is a page here or else where loaded with photos and java-type moving ads.
This will allow your browser to only display text and pages load soooooo much faster.
