The way I see it this just means six fewer inches between the hot asphalt and sand to toe dipping in the cool pacific. Works for me..
Maybe the state is just sinking because there are so many people living there. I do believe this theory is supported by at least one of our illustrious politicians in DC.
No it won’t. It will drop 6 inches on the east coast. As you go north through the northwest passage you will be able to detect a very small downwards slope. The change will be much faster south of Tierra del Fuego - a 6 inch drop in about 100 miles. And in the middle of the Straits of Magellan there will simply be a drop of six inches in about two feet - rough on any hull. The Panama canal may still be usable.
