Eisenhower was not a RINO. He balanced the budget in 1956, 1957 and 1958. He startd the policy of “massive retaliation”. If the Soviets ever threatened us we would unload outr nuclear arsenal on them.

Eisenhower cut the feet from beneath McCarthy because McCarthy had focused upon a fellow general for fraudulent spending. Eisenhower’s loyalty to that general was a spineless act.

Ike is my second-favorite President behind Reagan. Pretty good General, too.

He also had serious flaws, like selling out the Hungarian freedom fighters.

He was a RINO, and worse. He refused to listen to warnings from his own ambassador that Castro was a communist. Cuba fell to Communism on his watch.

Eisenhower was also the last President to effectively control the nation's borders. "Operation Wetback" deported hundreds of thousands of illegal Mexican migrants. This was accomplished without any technology more advanced than binoculars and walkie-talkies. Illegal immigration from outside of this continent was kept to a minimum as well.

In terms of foreign policy, he was the most reluctant about intervention of any post-Hoover Chief Executive. The Poles, Hungarians, and East Germans suffered terribly as a result of Eisenhower's reluctance. The Israelis, British, and French were blocked from taking the Suez Canal by the U.S. That failure did not improve Israel's vulnerability to foreign attack, a situation rectified by Israeli victories in 1967 and 1973, when the U.S. strongly supported them.
