I didn’t disagree with Lord Mockton at all, in fact I stated that it was a good presentation. I posited a question from the standpoint of “devil’s advocate”, seeking in-depth instruction on how I might counter an argument from a liberal.

Most Freepers oblige such a request. With a better understanding of an issue, we are able to win the argument on logic against those who would otherwise be allowed to bypass the Constitution as part of a power grab.

Then some one like your self comes along, all high and mighty, and treats a fellow conservative like an idiot, like they should have known the details and inner workings of electronic document construction. Words like “You have to do a little logical thinking, if you are able” and “It’s not hard...”

Maybe if Cornell University and RPI had spent more time on pdf document construction while I was getting my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Chemical and Mechanical engineering I wouldn’t have had to ask the question...

“Don’t you understand his point?”...yes, I did. When you get to a higher level of education, you learn to keep asking questions and challenge assertions, even if it supports what you already believe.

So some Freepers are interested in helping other Freepers to understand an issue. Others take the opportunity to give themselves some weird self-gratification by demeaning a fellow conservative simply because he asked a question.

One of the most annoying things on this board are know-it-alls. That doesn’t mean that they have vast knowledge...rather it means they take pleasure in presenting themselves as such.

OMG! Did you actually do that? Listed your schools and degrees? For what... lending weight to your reply? Gee. I haven't seen that in here for a while.

Well, I guess I HAVE to apologize now...I had no idea who you were. You've won, of course. Please forgive me? And be sure to say hello to the ChemEng boys at the Cornell reunion for us.
