I'm getting closer and closer to believing that we are now just waiting for God to end the world. More and more I find myself HOPING that God will come soon to end all of this. Having two sons makes it even harder because how could I want the end of the world when I have two beautiful sons who I want to watch grow? How can I have two sons grow in this society is also an alarming cause for scare. Our government is making decisions on when it's okay to kill a baby, our president is giving praise to a dictator, for God's sake The Green Lantern is now gay, there's been two cases of one man eating another man in the same week, we have children being raised in homosexual households, marriage is no longer a holy communion. I'm at the point where I don't see a return; our society has lost all moral value. I think this has gone way past who our president is. This has reached a point of losing God in our country. Getting rid of Obama (which would be a HUGE step) will not fix all of the country's problems. We need a spiritual revolution. I don't want to give up on our country, and as God fearing man, I can not give up on our country. Is there any hope left? Yes, but it all rests in God's hands.
We may yet wise up and follow what God told us to do in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
If not, stand firm, keep the faith. There are things worse than mortal death...

A friend of mine came up with the best line I’ve heard in the last few months, and in his honor, I’ve elected to adopt it for my new tagline.
“This stuff is nothing compared to the Middle Ages”.

Having two sons
Children are a blessing from the Lord, thank God for them. Many people have no one.
Thank God He gave you the wisdom and discernment to see the truth of the times we live in. If He gave you a mind and heart to see this, won't He give you what you need to teach your boys the truth. You are not like the sheep walking around ignorantly watching reality shows and adorning Hollywood, obama....
Only 41% of the public believe abortion is ok. That number is down. We can vote in and out our political leaders. No one can force us to vote for someone who is pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage....Our God knows what is happening and is with us, to guide us and give us peace beyond understanding.

Our president will be held accountable to the God and the American people (those who care) for his actions.
The left is desperate and now is inventing gay super heroes. They are losing and know it.
There always have been despicable social-paths/psychopathic personalities we just did not hear about it. Man is fallen and some embrace satan and don't even know it.
They will be held accountable, but we must pray their eyes are open to the truth of what they are doing.
Man cannot destroy what God has created. Man will try to corrupt it, but he can't stop the holiness of it.
If man is beyond the point of no return, Jesus will return. If not, they say people must hit rock bottom to repent. Turn your eyes to heaven to see the hand of God.
It's never about one man, it's about who we are as God's people and what we are called to do. Sounds like you have a calling.
They can try to take God out of the public square, but they can't remove Him from our hearts. In fact, they say when a government tries this, they end up with a spiritual revival.
You hit the nail on the head. WE NEED A SPIRITUAL REVOLUTION. I use to think that getting the right person in office will help fix our country. No man can change the hearts of people, but God can use that man to change hearts. That is why many have been upset with not having a strong pro-life, pro-family....candidate. God appoints rulers & sometimes these rulers push us to God or can try to push God out. I fear romney will bring in false gods. So maybe, all that is happening is a blessing in disguise. We are only on earth maybe 100 years. We will be heaven or hell for eternity. God wants people to be right with Him. He will do whatever it takes to bring people to Him. (God is not willing that any should perish.)
Exactly. We trust in God, not ourselves because every man will fail us.

For many, many decades, the word HOPE has been a political code word that means “vote Democrat.”
Why? Because while it sounds positive, it’s actually one of the most destructively disempowering concepts in language. When one is “hoping,” one is impotent, one has surrendered power to wishing to be saved. And that is EXACTLY the state of mind Democrats want you to be in - craven, powerless wards of the state.
Stop “hoping.”
As Yoda says, “do, or do not - there is no try.” If you learn from everything you do, there is no failure. If you pray, you give yourself to God, and accept the response - that is not hoping, that’s doing. And when you’re done praying, go do what you have to do, whatever it is (even if that means resting).
Control your mind - or it will be controlled for you. THAT is the real battle.
“Is there any hope left? Yes, but it all rests in God’s hands.”
That God will render His judgement is part of the hope that Christianity offers- that those who deserve His rewards receive them, and that those who deserve His wrath receive that.
From Revelations Chapter 7:

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Those of us who serve Him have nothing to fear- and those who choose not to will get their due also. Just remember to follow His ways and not those of man. Take comfort that our Lord knows what He is about, even when we don’t.
