The real cause of disease and suffering is the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden. That’s an easy one.

You can lay there and die, I’ll go find someone that knows what to do about it.

...and why cancer cures are spiritual in nature.

Do you mean that all cancer cures are necessarily spiritual in nature, or that some cancer cures might be at least partially spiritual in nature?

Because, frankly speaking, many people who wholly deny the efficacy of prayer have nonetheless experienced total remission.

This is actually a very nasty post.

Your claim is that cancer and other diseases are the fault of the person who gets them being that they are hateful and angry people and that is why they have cancer. That they have not found salvation so that is why they have cancer or other diseases.

That is a sick and hateful position in and of itself. It takes a very sick and hateful human being to tell a person suffering from a fatal disease that it is their own fault and is due to them being hateful and angry.

By your own logic you should be getting a taste of your own medicine and feeling the effects of these hateful and angry accusation you are making against those who suffer with cancer and other diseases.

I am just curious… do you tell little children who are suffering from cancer or some fatal disease this same message claiming that the ‘root cause’ of their disease is that they harbor too much hatred and anger and resentment? That if only they could become a better person and find salvation then maybe they wont have to die?

Pathetic.

Good post but cancer cures are 50% material and 50% spiritual. You can go the 100% spiritual cure route but you have to be an exceptional human being and bring lots of merit into the cure....otherwise you lose. If I had cancer I would go see the Dr Issels institute in Germany. They give you the best of chemo and best of alternative so they work synergistically. Then go pray you need both we are spirits in this material world (sting)

Interesting, but seems a bit new age. I was hoping to hear ‘Jesus’ in the message somewhere.

I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve. Left alone, no matter how spiritually perfect, I would die of either the subsequent chamber enlargement & wall thickening causing congestive heart failure, or of valve calcification blocking the beat signal. Two surgeries and electromechanical implants later, I’m fine until either the valve breaks or the wiring dislodges.

Kindly explain how spirituality would have resolved the problem of a hydraulically overloaded heart.

What at a huge steaming pile of bull shit! I watched that video (a serious waste of my time BTW and a few minutes of my life that I’d really like to get back ) and it was nothing more that some new age crap about disease being caused by “bad vibes” and “ill will”. Seriously? Really? Really? So someone’s little kid get’s cancer and it’s his parent’s fault because they didn’t treat the barista at the local Starbuck right, didn’t say thank you with a big enough smiley face or tip her enough? Really? Really? Seriously?

If there is a God, he should give you cancer just for being a stupid ass hat.

Nothing new here: Simple self hypnosis. Or Christian Science...

Although 80 pecent of folks can use self hypnosis, about 20 percent are very vulnerable to suggestions and delusions under hypnosis.

As for curing cancer: it’s about the same as faith healing. One in a thousand are actually cured, the rest think they are better, and a couple dozen die because their supposed “cure” is fake, and they stop the real medicine that would actually cure the cancer.

It sounds like "New Age" quackery, however I can attest to the fact that a positive attitude and eliminating (to the fullest extent possible) negative feelings like hate and envy can help keep you healthy.

It does seem that a lot of people travel with a cloud over them. They allow hate and envy to rule their lives and they are miserable and unhappy people who seem more susceptible to getting sick.

As for why young children get sick, don't have an answer for that. Not saying a positive attitude will keep you disease free and make you live forever - in fact, we know that cannot be true. However, life seems to go much better when you have a positive attitude and eliminate negativity from your life as much as you can.

One of the hardest things to do is to disassociate yourself from people who are overly negative. But I've learned to walk away from people (or tune them out) who constantly complain, gripe, and have the "woe is me" attitude.
