BIG mistake for US to grant a passport for the perp and BIG mistake for Japanese immigration to stamp his visa at Narita Airport and let him into the country.

Japan is pretty strict about letting foreigners with criminal convictions into the country, even actors and musicians. The two may not have had a criminal record.

I will grant you that. But if they were smuggling/carrying date rape (which is the current thinking) drugs through Japanese customs, they certainly made it free and clear. This type of entrant ("entertainer short term visa" ) to the country of Japan should get triple scrutiny if you ask me--PC be damned, any American Hip Hop/Rap Group and their entourage at Narita Airport, coming in with all kinds of gang "tats" and probably with an attitude of my "s" dont stink, I'll do what I please now that I am over here--should get twice of what the TSA gives US WWII vets, if you ask me. I hope the profilers in the Japan Immigration Agency as well as Tokyo Metro police get a clue over this. There has always been some level of crimes, drugs, rapes, etc. in connection with may US rap/hip hop groups which come to Japan and play these dank clubs, then carouse Tokyo till all hours of the night making asses of themselves, tarnishing the USA image, getting in fights and what not. Enough, say many Japanese and many foreigners here as well.

Note below notice (Club mentioned is the same club where this act performed, before the murder last week):

"SNOOP DOGG's Entertainment Visa officially Cleared by Japan consulate in the US 今の気分:決意 SNOOP DOGG's Entertainment Visa officially Cleared by Japan consulate in the US. ☆Snoop Dogg’s Entertainment Visa has been officially cleared by the Japan Consulate in the U.S.!☆ Recent news of a popular celebrity being sent back to the U.S. after arriving in Narita Airport has given birth to more rumors about Snoop Dogg’s Entertainment Visa status. Well wonder no more, because Snoop is coming and is excited about rocking with his fans in Japan! Tickets are still available for the ZEPP TOKYO, Yokohama Blitz and Ginowan Outdoor Theater (Okinawa) shows and you will be able to buy them at the members discount price of 8,000yen until the day before the show you select!"
