If this is based on sculpture and architecture, it is very thin evidence. All of these designs are natural things that a culture would design. If you want to make a really sturdy tower from which to dominate a landscape, the most stable and easy design is a pyramid. I built stacked-stone retaining walls for an earthen bank, and this is the only way for an amateur to do it. The other evidence are doorways and the sculptures are profoundly different, one blocky and squared and the other lavishly curved.
What you need are stories, language and music to make the case.
