Weirder is, his wife was on the plane....so my guess is they have an open marriage, and the Church keeps things under wraps for them.
Well, in Hollywood, they have a “tradition” of sorts, where established gay actors, especially leading men, will get paired up with up and coming young starlets by their agents, or the studios, to keep up appearances. The gay man gets a “beard” to keep his female admirers from catching on that their fantasies won’t come true, and the young woman gets a possible career boost and coverage in the gossip rags. Maybe CoS is performing the same service for some of their clientel.
