Fiberglass rusts? We didn't cover that in culinary school.

The little known secret about Vettes is that they can be rust buckets and the buyer thinking it is a plastic car never bothers to look. There are all sorts of metal screws holding panels together and other structural pieces underneath that can be expensive to fix.

I've have a brother that collects them and restores them. I'm aware. They don't rust like my 69' 240Z.

When I was young and clueless, I bought (very cheap thankfully) a 58 Vette that was fairly ratty on the outside and the frame was either missing or tissue paper thin on the inside. That project got sold before it got finished, LOL.
