HOUSTON Four Klein ISD campuses were put on lockdown Wednesday afternoon while police searched for a murder suspect in a nearby neighborhood. The lockdown started around 2 p.m. at Klein High, Kleb Intermediate, Mittelstadt Elementary and Klein Annex, and district officials said it was not immediately clear when the students would be released. Police were searching for the suspect, Zumbotha Newsome, in the Wimbledon Estates subdivision. Newsome is wanted in connection with the shooting death of Damien Goss on April 15, 2012. Goss, 30, was stopped in the 1400 block of E. 34th Street, about to pull into a driveway, when police said a suspect in a Chevy Impala pulled up next to him and opened fire. Goss was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police later identified Newsome as the suspect, and charges were filed against him on April 20. KHOU.com will update this developing story as additional details emerge.

What on earth is a “Zumbotha”?
It’s a strange Amish word spoken in a lost dialect that means “Levi”
Lemme guess . . .
I won’t bet against you.
East 34th is a pretty tough neighborhood. I had to work over there about 15 years ago but I wouldn’t do that again.
I wouldn’t bid on the job.
