Ron Paul has as much chance of winning the nomination as he does of sprouting wings and flying to Paris. And if his basement-dwelling supporters keep smoking that NorCal sinsemilla, they might well hallucinate such an event and spill bong water on their keyboards.

This story is one of the dumbest I’ve seen recently.

To anyone who just wasted a couple moments of their lives reading it as I just did, I’m sorry.

The nomination is not in doubt. Willard will be the nominee. Paul will be a footnote...again.

If the choice comes down to 4 years of isolationism, combined with an inward attitute toward individual freedom, versus hard core socialism (romney) or communist lite (fubo) then the choice becomes clear. I do not support or believe in isolationism, but it is far better than the alternatives... yeah, i would support ron paul...

If Romney fails to get the nomination on the first ballot, how likely is it that delegates will ultimately unite behind Gingrich and nominate him?

I couldn’t get past the headline and my first thought was that someone is smoking an illegal substance to come up with something this stupid.

Dude, dropping acid first thing on a Friday morning is no way to start the weekend.

There is NO WAY Ron Paul is coming out of the GOP convention as the nominee.

Ron Paul appears to be winning the Republican nomination for President.

I can't stop laughing every time this story is posted. If only this were original written on 420 it would make sense. Paultards are deranged and if they believe this crap, they should be kept far away from any job that requires the use of math.

"..my first thought was that someone is smoking an illegal substance to come up with something this stupid."

A LOT of really stupid stuff is getting posted on this board lately.

Come on guys, at least this kind of news keeps his fans pumped up. Ron Paul has the heart of a lion, a 75-year old lion with no chance of being President.

A brokered convention is decided by delgates whereas primaries are decided by voters.

If the primaries do not produce a clear winner with a candidate getting enough votes to lock up 1144 delegates, then a brokered convention is held where all the delegates are up for grabs.

In a brokered convention, all of our conservative candidates get put back in play (Newt, Palin, Bachmann, Cain) and they are one-on-one with the delegates without negative advertising, without democrats crossing over in open primaries to vote for Rimney, with out bribery to get key endorsements, without Romney’s money buying his way to the nomination.

A brokered convention means Romney can be defeated.

Would Paul be better than Romney?

No! On my number one issue, national defense, I actually prefer 0bama over Paul.

I can't believe I just wrote that. I think Dr. Paul would make a wonderful Treasury Secretary. I would not let him anywhere near the Defense Department.

Hey ‘Dude’ I just commented on the article I posted the same as you did, but didn’t suggest someone was dropping acid. I’ll leave that up to you Frogs.

This could be America’s (and the world’s) best hope, especially if the Degenerates use up a large measure of their ordinance on Romney.

Sure, having someone who is at least a fiscal conservative would be better than someone who’s liberal on everything. Arguably the biggest, most immediate impending disaster for our country is the debt, so someone who’s going to be a hawk on that issue would be a good enough choice, even if they’re wrong on other issues. Paul’s fiscal austerity would be far preferable to Romney’s tax-and-spend socialism.

Well, except for the fact that the real world doesn’t work that way.

If they will sell you out on the moral issues, they will sell you out on the money issues in the end. Always.
