Obama doesn't call Perfect Game winner of his "Favorite Team" (Must Read Funny)

SEATTLE — White Sox right-hander Philip Humber made sure to relish every moment commemorating Saturday's perfect game with his teammates.

That included spending Saturday night at a sports bar with about a dozen teammates to watch a UFC fight (even though Humber isn't a fight fan) to taping a "Top 10" segment for Monday's showing of "The Late Show with David Letterman.".

"You only get one chance to re-live it," Humber said Sunday morning.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and former Sox ace Mark Buehrle were among more than 100 people who sent congratulatory messages to Humber. As of late Sunday morning, he had yet to hear from the White Sox's No. 1 fan – President Barack Obama.

"I don't know if he knows I'm a registered Republican or what," Humber joked.

So Mark Buehrle threw a perfect game in July 2009 for the White Sox and our supposed number 1 fan Obama called him instantly. So far Obama hasn't called Humber, Humber joked that he is a registered Republican.

Humber along with several members of the White Sox Team and Staff are Christians and Conservative. I've been a Season Ticket Holder for 20 years and so proud that we don't have premadonnas like Ozzie Guillen anymore.

When Phil Humber was interviewed on the radio he gave thanks to God, talked about his Faith, how his teammates share his Faith. Guys is an all around good guy.

For once I have to give credit to Rahm Emanuel for calling Humber immediately. Too bad his boss in DC doesn't have any dignity!

So Emperor Zero claims to be the biggest White Sox fan on the planet and still hasn't congratulated Phil Humber who is a Christian Republican. A true role model athlete unlike the thugs in the NBA...

Why am I posting this?

Because Mark Buehrle threw a perfect game July 23, 2009 for the White Sox and Obama called him during Mark's post game press conference.

After Phil Humber's perfecto, Mayor Rahm Emanuel called and as quoted by Humber was excited. So for the first time in my life I'm going to give kudos to Rahm.

Barack Obama makes Rahm Emanuel look like a right wing conservative!!!

I usually like Mark Gonzalez's columns but for him to claim Obama is the #1 White Sox fan makes me sick. The bum was born in Kenya and grew up in Hawaii. Got his Marxism 101 here in Chicago from Bill Ayers and now he's our number #1 fan???

Such typical trash from the media. Obama has no dignity.

That’s why Rahm isn’t working at the White House any more. He was capable of calling a conservative to congratulate him. That sort of stuff isn’t permitted by Michelle and Valerie.

Someone needs to explain to Obama what a “perfect game” is. They probably didn’t play a lot of baseball in Indonesia when he was growing up.

God bless him and to He// with the Marxist.

His call would likely jinx the GOOD Christian conservative.

number 1 fan? let's not forget this great exchange....

Obama to (announcer Rob) Dibble on why he wore a White Sox hat to throw out the first pitch in Washington: “I’m a Southside kid, I gotta make sure (White Sox owner) Jerry Reinsdorf doesn’t get to angry with me.”

Dibble: “Having played with the White Sox for a short time, I know how the Cubs fans and White Sox fans go back and forth. Who was one of your favorite White Sox players growing up?”

Obama: “You know uh ….. I … I thought that … uh …. you know … the truth is a lot of the Cubs I like too! But, uh … I did not become a Sox fan until I moved to Chicago. Because I uh …. I was growing up in Hawaii so I ended up actually being an Oakland A’s fan.”

BINGO!!! During the 2005 ALCS Game 1 (only game we lost on our 11-1 run to the Title) Zero threw out the first pitch.

Even then people booed him, he threw worse than John Kerry.

Dengar,

He’s as un-American as a bipedal, carbon-based lifeform can be. No surprise to some of us.

If Fidel Castro was president, even he would have called Phil Humber. But to the dog-eater, Soetoro.

Congrats to you, Phil!
