[I do understand what you are getting at though - we are totally unworthy of the blessings we receive daily, but remember He promised also never to smite the ENTIRE human race again as well, so - we’ve got that going for us. In the meantime we all have to bear witness to these atrocities, and that’s not going to be much fun for anyone... Whether God Himself “cries” or not, I know I’ve done so. Keep faith.]
We also had a son with trisomy 18. Our doc advised an early induced delivery at 26 weeks. I asked if my life was I danger carrying the baby and he said no. So we said no thanks we will wait until God is ready for him. I considered it a privilege to carry a saint. the most amazing thing was seeing the chromosomes karyotype showing that there were 3 instead of 2. All I could think was Father, Son, Holy Spirit, the trinity. I knew my son belonged to God. It was a humbling experience for sure. He passed into eternity an hour after his birth. I kept hoping God would let us see the angels carrying him home. Can’t wait for the reunion.
