Obama said the other day that he wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He said that he and Michelle succeeded because someone gave them a chance, gave them an education, etc.
What he doesn’t mention is that he was from a solid upper middle class or upper class background himself!! He went to the most prestigious prep high school in the state of Hawaii!! His grandma paid for it. She was a bank vice president of a major bank in Hawaii. She made a good living. He was raised in an upper class home!!!
Then, he went on to attend Columbia and Harvard, two Ivy League universities. This guy is a member of the social/cultural elite. Yet he wants to make it sound as if he and Michelle struggled to rise up out of the ghetto.
I hope he gets called out on this horse blank.
I worked with a Japanese-American physicist who was born and raised in Hawaii. He admitted moving to Massachusetts was the worst mistake he ever made in his life. Climate was only part of the problem.

quite frankly, I am anxious to have a monied person in the White House, they know how to handle it. Clinton and Obama act (ed) like they won the lottery. Moving on up. at least the Jeffersons earned their own money
