This might be a cute backlash story, for the company being sued who owns those particular IHOPS.

Downthread in the article comments is a post that “claims” the owner is actually an Islamic woman...

I have no way of determining the truth of that particular claim.
But if factual, it would negate the lawsuit, and logically explain a few of the pointed comments from an “owner” to “management” regarding directives about specific cultural “sensitivities” of their local customer base.

I really do hope that claim is true! ROTFLMAO!
