Houston talk show host Michael Berry interviews Arlen Specter this morning and calls him "the most arrogant individual to serve in public life". Unfortunately, Specter hangs up before we can hear his reaction.
Classic Michael Berry!!
Specter is an arrogant b*st*rd all right, but I'd still have to say this statement is hyperbolic considering how keen the competition is for that title.
Compared to the guy in the white house, f'rinstance, Specter is the model of humility.
Gawd, what a sickening low life scumbag Arlen is.
I spit on his book and him.
Well, THAT put a smile on my face!
oooo... he’s not going to come ON with Michael any more after that. I turned the radio on at 8 and he says he’s having Arlen Specter on and I’m like, wtf? Then Spectre doesn’t call or his office says he isn’t going to do it, and then Berry goes to work on him, rakes his record over the coals, claims that RINOs are just as guilty as the democrats and the msm for the downfall of the Republic, and then all of a sudden, he’s on. So he was all fired up already, had a full head of steam. But seriously, it’s hard to believe he found someone willing to publish such a sourpuss themed book, much less to refer to the intraparty opposition as “cannibals”.
I would be interested in knowing what Arlen Specter’s definition of “doing a good job” is. Is bringing Scottish law into internal US matters “doing a good job”? Is hopping back and forth between parties based on the direction of the political wind (at least as perceived inside the NY-Washington corridor) “doing a good job”?
