He was fired from ESPN, too IIRC. Apparently he is NOT a very nice man behind the scenes. Practically everyone who ever worked with this guy thinks he's a total a$$hole.

Why the hell Current would pay him 50 million for 5 years is a complete mystery. Did they really think he would generate that much in ad revenue?

BTW, I had no idea that idiot Joel Hyatt was behind the Current TV venture. Hope he loses his ass on his "investment". That guy used to plague the airways back in the 80s with his ceaseless ambulance chasing TV ads.

I think it was Sunday night football on NBC. I believe he was still with MSNBC during the week.
