I walked two miles to school in a snow storm on many occasions. I really did.
What has happened to this country?

Trayvon walked .7 miles each way, to get his little brother Skittles, while his dad sat at home shortly before the NBA Allstar game that started at 7:30pm est.

My junior high coach used to makes us RUN two miles in the rain when I was 12. This was after I had to walk two miles in the rain just to get to school.
Who do I sue?

I walked 8 miles in the rain once when I was in training for a 60 mile walk. It was a pretty stupid thing to do. I got chilled and developed pneumonia but I survived. (I was 62 at the time).

Should have taken her Camels, then he’d only have to walk a mile.

A smart drunkard mother would have given him a bag of potatoes, yeast, sugar, water and distilling equipment and grounded him until he’d replaced the vodka.

You were lucky to have just rain. When I was 12 I had to walk in 3 feet of snow in June 2 miles to school all up hill both ways in the dark.

There was no such thing as being bussed to school when I was in my teens. I lived in Rochester, NY. We didn't have a car, and I walked over a mile every morning, in all kinds of weather, to get to school. Then walked back home when school was done.

Making people walk over a mile is now Cruel and Unusual punishment. It’s clearly unConstitutional.
