His deathly serious manner has served to hide the fact that he’s about as bright as Hannity.

That's unfair and wrong. Hume is an excellent political analyst. He obviously does not like Newt. That's his prerogative -- a lot of people don't.

At his best, he’s a master of the obvious. At his worst, he’s embarrassing. Listen to him closely.

He’s much like the woman on the Fox All Stars who is so forgettable that I can’t remember her name. She pushes conventional wisdom in an utterly forgettable way.
