We could really use the help...and so can the Vets round about.
We have over 4,000 on Pine Ridge Reservation. Closure means an extra 50 miles each way in any kind of weather for them, as well as everyone else in the service area who uses the Hot Springs facility. That service area includes a large chunk of Nebraska, plus parts of CO & WY, and even parts of Kansas.
It isn’t like there isn’t a facility on the I-90 corridor near Rapid City already...which WON’T be closed.
