I am ABO. But this matchup will never happen. Newt hates Romney (can’t blame him).
It’ll be ABO/Rubio. Need FL and Hispanic vote would kill Obama in western swing states like New Mexico, Nevada, etc.

Yes, I doubt Newt would run with Willard. The personal animosity is just to much at this point. Besides it would be like making Barney Fife Sheriff and Andy the deputy.

The problem is Romney. Thinking any VP choice could make Romney acceptable shows a profound lack of understanding as to what a conservative is.
If on the other hand its just about getting the GOP candidate elected no matter who he is then a question like this makes sense.. I like many others here will never vote for Romney period..

Funny...I had the very same thought. Admit it or not, Romney appeals to those moderates and independents (that I cannot comprehend..but look at the votes so far). The VP role is typically allotted the “attack dog” role...and Newt has already proven himself as the leader. The VP is also the leader of the Senate. The question is, would either of them them go for such a combination? If it comes to that, I would vote for it. 0bama MUST go, he must be impeached or voted out in November.
