GOP, Gutless Opposition Party!

Just as those in union leadership cavalierly and ruthlessly use their rank and file members as tools for their own empowerment and enrichment, the GOP elite prey upon their base for power and wealth at the expense of the American taxpaying citizen. Congress has become an elite society of male and female Willie Sutton (prolific U. S. bank robber) imitators, because that is where the money and power in American Politics is. The Mafia must be jealous of how those in Congress have co-opted and corrupted the legislative branch of our Federal government into their own syndicate.

I sent this to someone else today, thought you might find it interesting.

Romney, like obama has not been vetted. My husband and I had dinner saturday night with friends who both recently retired from the Air Force. My husband was in their wedding and we have know them years. My husband mentored the wife who is a retired Colonel and has nothing to do with politics. The husband and I enjoy talking politics, the guy is so intelligent; he is the kind of person who reads everything and studies the footnotes and follows them to ensure the truth. I would say he is a mixture of a republican, libertarian and agrees with a few things liberals say.
He told me that he would not vote for Romney, but would vote, Newt, Obama or Santorum. I asked him HOW could you be so spread out in who you would vote for and why not Paul and why in the world obama? He said he knows what obama is about and can be controlled, (he trust the system much more than I do) and that he thinks romney could be worse than obama because of his stealth past, and purposeful hiding of who he really is. I said I know he is not a conservative, but worse than obama? He was convinced that romney is up to more than meets the eye.

He said romney is protraying himself as something he is not and he’s not talking just politics??? He said if you wanted to defend capitalism, romney should be the last person you should pick. He investigated it completely, and said that there is things there he will have to answer for. He said he did not know why the republican leadership criticized the other candidates for bringing it up, as well as other similar financial dealings. He said obama will be able to lay out his reasons very simply for the people to understand and that he cannot beat obama. He thought the the RNC was up to something and that obama will not have a problem questioning capitalism; in fact, romney makes the case why capitalist are so bad. Again he said the worse person you could nominate is romney if you are defending capitalism; and what is obama running on? The one percenters, so we give him one? And one with a lot of baggage???

He really made sense. Why would the RNC push a nominee with corrupt dealings when we know about is using this campaign to smear capitalist, the one percenters, social justice? It would be easy for the left to point out the corruption and say ALL capitalist are like that. Maybe the RNC is giving up. I know he showed me enough that he is right, and I can’t wait until the next time we get together to talk. He’s an interesting man.

I'd say your Air Force buddy is right on the money. I would caution people to really, really consider before pulling the lever for Romney EVEN when the alternative is Zer0.

Here's my reasoning, I sure wish I could join your dinner conversation!!

Why I am NEVER voting for Romney, even if he is the GOP nominee (shudder)

Many people, online and in-person, have started to shrug and say, "Oh well. Looks like Romney's gonna get the Republican nomination. I'll have to hold my nose and vote for him, like I voted for McCain.and all the other RINOs the GOP have shoved at us. After all, if he's only 80-90% like Obama then he's at least a little better than him, right?"

WRONG. and here’s why.

If Myth does 90% of what Zer0 does, he will do it WITH AN R NEXT TO HIS NAME.

What does this do? Well, Republicans in Congress who would otherwise balk at lib legislation if it were proposed by Zer0 WILL SIGN ON TO THE LEGISLATION BECAUSE IT IS PROPOSED BY THE LEADER OF THE GOP.

Imagine: amnesty, “tax fairness”, gutting the military and so much more ALL SAILING THROUGH CONGRESS because a “Republican” is at the helm of America. Contrast this with a second Obozo presidency where the GOP will dig in their heels and at least try to fight.

Yeah, I said it. An Obummer presidency is better for America than a Myth presidency (in the way that a cowpie sandwich is better than a meal of broken glass).

This is why we have to have a NOT-ROMNEY at the top of the ticket if we are to have any hope of digging America out of this hole we’re in. And if we don't, God help us... but I still WON'T vote for him. I'll vote for whichever acceptable, conservative 3rd party candidate is running (so my protest vote will have the most impact), or I'll write one in.

As JimRob says. Romneycare = Obamacare = Commiecare. NO ROMNEY, NO WAY!!

Sorry for the bad grammar. Here's the corrected version.

He wanted to do more research on something he's tracking.

He said romney is portraying himself as something he is not and he's not talking just politics??? He said if you wanted to defend capitalism, romney should be the last person you should pick. He investigated it completely, and said that there is things there he will have to answer for. He did not understand why the republican leadership criticized the other candidates for bringing up Bain and other similar financial dealings. They know Obama will be able to show the public that romney and capitalism is bad. He thought the RNC was up to something. He said romney would be the perfect poster child for corrupt capitalist. Again, he said running Romney against obama will hand the presidency Obama on a silver platter. Romney is the worse person you could nominate if you are defending capitalism.

He really made sense. Why would the RNC push a nominee with corrupt dealings to represent all capitalist? Why was the other candidates excoriated if they even said the word Bain? They knew Obama would. I'm starting to think the RNC is either giving up or holding onto power for themselves, because they believe obama will win for sure. I know he told me enough that I wonder what is really going on too. I can't wait until the next time we get together to talk. He's an interesting man.

I don’t see the republicans digging in their hills. What I see is the GOP getting rid of or neutering some of the tea party candidates and caving to obama and the dems even more.

With that said, I will not vote for o’rommey.

Vote for a mormon who says he’s a Christian.

or

Vote for a muslim who says he’s a Chritian.

or

Write in or vote third party. I’ve made my choice.

Opposition is certainly the wrong word to use. They oppose nothing.

An Internet friend responded to my recent email re. Romney’s past tilts to portside by observing that we have no choice but to support him if he is the nominee. While I want Obozo to go away ASAP, as of this writing, it’s not looking all that good.
My somewhat expanded reply follows.
The Obama smear machine will tear Romney to shreds. Here’s the narrative:
MR’s past and current positions are similar/identical to mine. You gonna vote for a rich, white pubbie over the first black president? A rich, white pubbie who was born with a mouth full of silver spoons who makes snap bets for 10K on TV and tells unemployed workers that his wife drives “...several Cadillacs...”? You gonna vote to send me away after I hiked your welfare benes? (Almost 50% of Americans are receiving those benes.) And the Dem’s will make sure ALL those supporters will get to the polls and, along with millions of illegals and the departed, vote early and often. (It’s the Chicago Way.)
And because the choice is between Obozo and Obozo Lite, a lot of the less committed and uninformed otherwise conservative voters may sit it out.
We need a clear CHOICE. We don’t need the establishment GOP favorite shoved down our throats by the same Beltway jerks who, according to Palin, REFUSED to allow her to expose Obozo’s marxist past in ‘08. That situation is but more evidence of the truth of some gallows humor popular with fellow cynics that the Dems want socialism NOW while the pubbies are content to wait a few days. The bad news from ‘08 is that the GOP establishment has become impatient.
With the MSM covering for Obozo again and the bulk of the electorate either ignorant of or supporting the dismantling of this nation, we’ve got trouble right here in River City.
I’m not sure this fight can be won — or even worth the effort. It now seems that fight will almost certainly move to a new and more “kinetic” level. This WILL get ugly.
All that said, I and many of those I know will NOT allow these treasonous criminals to steal the birthright so many others died to defend.
I guess we’ll see you at the polls. If that fails, it’s on to the barricades (figurative or literal) to carry on the fight the other side started.
“To every man upon this earth Death cometh soon or late. And how can man die better Than facing fearful odds, For the ashes of his fathers, And the temples of his Gods,”
