The tape didn’t even rise to the level of “ho-hum”. Those who promoted it as the ultimate ‘gotcha’ polotical catch of the century should be ashamed of themselves. These ‘impotent’ stunts hurts the image of those on the right wanting so desperately to get the goods on the impostor in chief. This was embarrassing to say the least, IMHO.

There has to be more to that tape because Obama was clearly introducing Prof. Bell and it sure seemed like Bell was going to make some remarks following Obama’s hug. The second tape with Prof. Ogletree gloating over hiding this tape also seemed strange since what was shown shown was hardly damning of Obama and has been easily have been glossed over by the sycophant media. The tapes of Rev. Wright's GD America sermon were far more inflammatory. Breitbart was far smarter than this and I'm sure planned to release just part of the tape, let the media pooh-pooh it and then release the part with Bell unleashing his racists rants.

And old saying goes something like this:

“If you can’t kill the king, then you shouldn’t attempt it”.

To me, this means that if you attempt to bring down “the king” or in this case, Obama, and you fail, then this makes him stronger. IOW, when you go after the king, make ABSOLUTELY SURE you bring him down or else, he’ll bring you down.

IN the micro, it was a dud. But when it is examined in the macro, it is huge. And I think that’s where Breitbart was going.

It builds on the narrative that Obama is nothing but an anti American radical - who was given a pass by the media.

His apologists look absolutely foolish now when they cry “guilt by association” - because the list is ever growing (Derrick Bell, Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Father Pfleger, Van Jones, Frank Marshall Davis, Raila Odinga, Louis Farrakhan, Alice Palmer, etc)

Local radio guy Howie Carr compared it to Geraldo opening Al Capone's vault: a lot of build-up, not much pay-off.

It depends on how much you were expecting and how much it takes to shock or anger you.

"The release of the highly anticipated videotapes of Barack Obama speaking at an affirmative-action rally when he was a student at Harvard Law School “fell flat,”...
Savage said that while the video shows Obama endorsing a radicalized, racist professor at Harvard when he was a student, “from Obama, there is no screaming or radical statements.”

Well Savage just proved to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is just like the rest of the MSM.
When he doesn't even recognize that the video is of Ogletree bragging about hiding the tape Savage is talking about then that shows me that he lacks the intelligence to recognize the value of that video and what it portends. It also shows that, for whatever reason, Savage want people to forget what the video with Ogletree does show.

Savage noted that his upcoming book, “Trickle Down Tyranny,” shows Obama “has a long history of his radicalism, a long history of associating with people like Derrick Bell, and there’s no point in reiterating it.”
If Savage knew of his relationship with Bell then why hasn't he spoken about it on his radio show? Or did he not know about that either? I guess we'll all see when his book comes out.

You're part of the problem Savage, not the solution to it.

He’s on live at the sametime as Levin. I don’t do podcasts so I catch both live or replay . When Savage goes into a rant as this one I just turn the dial

.He often misquotes or mistates facts Recently Savage was discussing the Nazi A-bomb efforts and the blowing up of a barge carrying heavy water (deuteurium) episode.. He placed the area as Finland not Norway. BTW The Brits did it and found out much later checking documents after the war the boat didn’t contain what they were after .

Imagine a white president speaking at a Harvard protest, telling the crowd to open their hearts and minds to a man who said, "I live to harrass black folks." Now ask yourself how big a deal it is.

The leftist media is playing their card #3, which is to pretend something's no big deal (card #1 is saying something is "hateful," card #2 is saying something is "racist"). Hell, if THEY say it's no big deal, how can it possibly be a big deal? They're the arbiters of what's important, right? If they shrug their shoulders, so should we, right?

Andrew Breitbart was right--the mainstream media is the real evil here. The real enemy. That video was disgusting, and no shoulder-shrugging Soledad O'Brien, doing her propagandistic best to get me to shrug MY shoulders is going to convince me otherwise.

To those who are pi$$ing and moaning with: “I really hope there's something more...this video had no impact...yada...yada” try paying attention!
Did you folks not see the video debate between Soledad O'Brien and Mr. Joel Pollak? Watch this video and ask yourself the obvious question: “If this first video that they released really had NO impact, then why did Ms. O'Brien and her CNN guests become so animated and upset?”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0zW7sLsvGI

Sorry, but I'll trust tactics and judgment of Mr. Brietbart and Mr. Pollak over the “All-Knowing Keyboard Warriors” on this forum.

Oh, and Savage is nothing but a bitter old man. He seems to have nothing but jealousy and contempt for his colleagues in the business.

Video of Obama kidnapping Patty Hearst would be a “dud” after CNN, etc., were done. Breitbart’s contribution here is the peeling back of Obama submerged associations. On the tapes, Obama enthusiastically endorses Derrick Bell, the prime exponent of Critical Race Theory, an intellectually vapid, blatantly racist vision. But do Obama’s actions and associations fit the CRT agenda? Let’s see, under the CRT mindset:

Black Panthers with clubs at polling places are ok because they protect blacks from the institutionalized propensity of whites to suppress the black vote. Stopping the Justice Department from pursuing crimes by blacks redresses years of persecution under the law.

Requiring photo id’s at polling places is per se racist, because legal documents, birth certificates, legitimate id cards, etc., are creations of the “white” system of law, used to exclude and exploit blacks and minorities. Voter fraud is necessary to even things up.

American law facilitates the exploitation of the have nots by the haves, especially on a racial basis; therefore,
“spreading the wealth around” through “entitlements” (like ObamaCare) is necessary to achieve social justice.

The feelings of a “wise Latina” are a better source for rulings than what the law actually says, because laws are made by whites to perpetuate white power. Facts and justice are relative to one’s ethnicity.

Nope, nothing there. I guess introducing “Critical Race Theory” into the discussion of what makes Obama tick was a useless dud after all.

I’d agree that this is nothing WE don’t already know. But it is something THEY don’t already know.

Obama’s far left nature is still unkown to a lot of people and this needs to be reiterated so more can become aware of it and be reminded of it.
