We still have friends from when we were in the UK and we’ve been told that the boys aren’t allowed to date the girls unsupervised. They can kiss but there’s no sex before marriage, so yes, maybe they’re over the top but they seem to have moral standards.
It’s unfortunate that these ‘high moral standards’ are not known for extending into the realm of a respect for the rule of law and property rights.

In england there is the problem of gypsys squating in peoples homes and litterally kicking people out. (case posted here on FR about a woman who comes back from a trip to find her house occupied by gypsies and when she does get it back eventually, it is gutted)
