department of Public Safety shall include the designation “VETERAN” on the face of any class or type of Texas driver license issued to a Veteran.
To be eligible for the Veteran designation to be placed on their dirver license, the Veteran must present a DD 214 or DD 215 (corrected copy of DD-214), signifying they received an honorable discharge or general (under honorable conditions) from the branch of service in which the person served.
Visit htt-://www.tvc.state.tx.us/latest-news/entry/information-from-the-department-of-public-safety-regarding-the-veteran-driv for more information on the process to add Veteran diver license.
Specialty License Plates:
....you can support your service by displaying military or veteran plates. You must have been honorably discharged if no longer a member of the service. to to htt-://www.txdmv.gov/vehicles/license plates/qualifying/military.htm
For those, like me, who do a lot of shopping in Lowes and other places, who give 10% discounts, it it worth the time and effort to have this on our driver’s license.
