To: yorkie

This was wonderful, yorkie. Remember 33’s albums, I have a couple of those by Floyd Cramer and that song is on them. And of course, my dad was a railroad worker during my lifetime and my brother and I were so lucky to get to ride the trains so much.

We had relatives in Florida and we took the train, of course. Mama would pack delicious food for us to have on the train. We got to ride free but not the food....LOL! I remember two things she always had was fried chicken and always bananas. And other stuff that I can’t remember. It was a great life.

A guy came through the train at bedtime, renting nice big soft fluffy pillows and we would beg for one but Mama said we couldn’t spend the money on that. Times were hard back then. But I’m so glad to have had those experiences.

Memories, ahhhhh!
