The talking head comedian circuit was ridiculing the notion of nascar as a sport. (those effetes probably could not drive a prius without wearing depends)
The puzzling factor has been how many basketball and other sport paid athleates are solid democrats. Are they so stuck on stupid that they don’t realize they will lose everything to their favored politician?

They usually end up losing everything to their favorite agent, homeboy or family member anyways so why not another hand out. A large majority of these guys end up broke a couple years after retirement. Unfortunately, brains do not come with athletic talent most of the time. Shawn Kemp had to keep playing in the NBA way past his prime to support his cadre of kids to a cadre of mothers wanting alimony.
