And it’s still Bush’s fault.

If you weren’t a stupid right wing hatemonger, you’d know that.

Now go pay your taxes - your government is broke.

Up is down.

We have always been at war with Eurasia.

And if that doesn't work, we'll grow algae.

Democrats Eager to Exploit Anger Over Gas Prices

By MICHAEL JANOFSKY

NY Times- one paragraph snip

Officials at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which advises House candidates, said they sent a memorandum to candidates on Thursday offering guidance on using the issue to their advantage. The memorandum includes a “sample statement” that recommends telling voters, “Americans are tired of giving billion-dollar tax subsidies to energy companies and foreign countries while paying record prices at the pump.”

Let's take it at face value. Was Bush responsible for the rise in gas prices? In that he approved military missions in the Middle East, as well as increased federal regulations, and permission from the EPA for variations in clean air formulas for various parts of the country giving rise to the patchwork of special and unique blends of gasoline? Yes. It was Bush's fault.

What about the recent rise in prices? Is it the fault of pushes for more green energy or strangleholds on the industry? No, it is not. In this respect, Obama’s correct, it is not the fault of the executive branch that gas prices are going up...

It is Congress’ fault. They continue to approve massive overspending by the federal government. I won't get into the blunders by the Fed in all of this, as it really pales in comparison to the more than trillion dollar yearly deficits. You can't spend 15% of the GDP in borrowed money and NOT expect your currency to take a beating on the market. Sure, by comparison to other screwed up currencies (by governments equally diving into the land of insanity) it's not as dramatic as it could have been...

But this MUST stop. We MUST stop the overspending, or every single one of us will be robbed of all our savings by the massive drain of inflated currencies.

And don't even imagine that electing some RINO like Romney will fix this - remember that Barack Obama voted for the FIRST bailout and the foundation of the first stimulus. Congress is where the buck stops.. They allow every check to be written in this country, and put us deeper and deeper into debt. Don't let them pawn this off onto Obama, put their feet to the fire too.

I assume if the prices go down it’s also Bush’s fault.
