7:00 p.m. Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar
10/8/61 "The Medium Rare Matter" Matter #761 Mandel Kramer, Maurice Tarplin (Jack Price), Dan Ocko (Udi Vishnu), Evelyn Juster (1st woman), Bill Lipton (Martin Mefford), Toni Darnay (2nd woman), Guy Repp (background voice), Sam Raskyn (background voice) ; Writer - Jack Johnstone ; Producer/Director - Bruno Zirato, Jr. ; Musical Supervisor - Ethyl Huber ; Announcer - Art Hannes ; Expense Account Total = $465.30 ; CBS ; Jack Price, TriWestern Life Insurance Company, Katz Building, Corpus Christi, calls Johnny and asks him to investigate a rare psychic medium that has been costing the company money. Udi Vishnu has set up the Temple of the Living Truth out beyond the city limits near the old Ranch 66 gambling roadhouse. Vishnu's followers have been cashing in their policies to give the money to him. In addition, Price suspects Vishnu may be involved in the murder of two of these people who have named him beneficiary in their wills. Johnny takes a room at the Robert Driscoll Hotel. He arranges to take in one of Vishnu's rallies at the Temple. He is assigned seat number H3. All seating is by reserved seat. After an hour of speaking Vishnu begins to recount facts about the life of Martha Williams in seat H4. Vishnu knows many obscure facts about her. The crowd is stunned. Johnny returns to his Hotel and figures it out. He checks over the Temple's list of reserved rooms for the next "performance". Each person's hometown and reserved seat number are on the registry. After $121 worth of long distance calls Johnny is ready for Vishnu's next show. When Udi starts into describing obscure facts about Martin Mefford in the audience, Johnny stands up and continues to add more facts, exposing how Vishnu obtained his information. Undercover police in the audience arrest Vishnu, who in reality is Bernie Billrig. (23:26)

3/2/50 "The Big Kill" Program #38 Jack Webb (Joe Friday), Barton Yarborough (Ben Romero) ; Writer - James E. "Jim" Moser ; Sponsor - Fatima Cigarettes ; NBC ; Sergeants Friday and Romero are working out of homicide detail. Jack Carver, just out of Folsom, is suspected of killing a cop for revenge. Friday poses as a criminal in jail to find the missing murder weapon. (26:38)
8:00 p.m. Gunsmoke
5/23/53 "Print Asper" Program #57 William Conrad (Matt Dillon), Parley Baer (Chester Proudfoot), Howard McNear (Doc Adams), Georgia Ellis (Kitty Russell), Joseph Kearns, John Dehner, Sam Edwards ; Director - Norman Macdonnell ; Writer - John Meston ; Music Composer/Conductor - Rex Koury ; Announcer - Roy Rowan ; CBS ; Old John Asper, a rancher who "knew the land the way a preacher knew the Bible," asks attorney Rabb to transfer the title of his ranch to his two sons, Print and Will;. However, the dishonesty lawyer puts the title in hi sown name, and when Asper discovers the double-cross, he threatens to kill Rabb. The thief quickly corrects the transfer, and everything appears to have been resolved. Four days later, when Rabb is found murdered Asper is the natural suspect. After Asper's alibi is confirmed, Matt surmises that Will or Print might be the culprit. The script was used on the Gunsmoke television series on May 23, 1959. (29:42)

During the robbery there are shots. When Johnny gets to the car Julie orders him in the car and says she is driving. Johnny is bleeding in the leg. His take was $700. Julie says it is chickenfeed, junk stuff. She is cutting herself in, and says that from now on she is giving the orders. She'll make him a big time crook. She gets a doc to fix Johnny up at gunpoint, then they head for San Francisco. She says that she was with Ricky Wolfe the big time Central City mobster for five years. He's dead now, six weeks ago in Iowa. She is the only one who knows Ricky was killed and tossed into a river. Julie wants to make Johnny, who bears a physical resemblance, into Ricky, and as such to meet the rest of the mob. When he does, the plan is working until Julie begins to think Johnny really is Ricky and in a jealous rage she tips off the FBI on the location of "Ricky", but not before Johnny shoots her. A crying Johnny begs the dead Julie to tell the FBI that he is not Ricky because he doesn't want to get the chair. Johnny falls in a hail of gunfire. (29:52)
