Gingrich has plans, not platitudes.
You never hear that sort of thing from Santorum or Romney, never. They’re too busy talking about how conservative they are. Parroting the lines they think you want to hear. They’re for freedom; they’re for less government; they’re against Obama. But what would they DO? They don’t say.

Whether you have decided on a candidate to vote for or not - you need to watch this video. It's 45 minutes long, but without notes or a teleprompter. This man has a mind that can deal with Congress or the United Nations or any tinpot dictator.
He should purchase a large advertising time slot and show this speech to the nation. He truly could change minds and change the direction of our country. Someone must...we are sinking fast!
Outstanding as always! Been following Newt closely for two years and this may be his best speech ever.

I would like to place a order for 500 Newt Gingrich's We need alot more like him.
I find Newt's ideas here offer the first real encouragement for me in the last few years. Believe him about China! Believe him about Detroit! Compare Newt's presentation to the empty blatherings of 'candidate' Obama in the last campaign who used (and still uses) vague narcotizing platitutes. Newt offers insightfull solutions backed by historical observations, versus short-term patches from Obama.
There's a reason why liberals fear and detest this man: his ideas are both practical and brilliant, and he's adroit at proving how stupid their ideas are. That's why he's my man in 2012. Thanks for sharing this video!

This is the kind of idea based discussions I have been waiting for. I don't like it when people like him insult and bash. We need more discussions like this.
I live in MI and we've clearly decided to die. To "change" would require that we become a non-union "right to work" state, and the UAW/unions OWN the political machine in MI. These scumbags will cling to their lavish entitlements and will NEVER give up anything...even though it condemns their children to a state with 25% unemployment and no future. Talk about "greed"......
Bottom line is Newt’s ideas for providing loans instead of bailouts, etc., as outlined to Hannity would have been a lot better. I think it came down to a question of would he vote for the bill if that’s what was handed to him and he had no other options. We know that if he was in charge he would have crafted a much better solution.
