I don’t think a pit bull can jump a 6 foot fence. Maybe a 6 foot “long” fence...

I don't know about pit bulls but my father witnessed a coyote leap over his 5 ft. high wall. They can also jump up on roofs and chase cats.

Dogs can actually leap pretty high, when they are motivated.

The dogs wouldn’t have to jump over a fence, just high enough that they can use their front legs to hang with and their back legs to climb the fence.

It’s plausible.

A six-foot chainlink fence is no problem for a pit bull. I watched a neighbor easily train his to scale one in no time at all.

I have seen it done, albeit he had a hump of ground a few feet back to run and launch himself from, but you would be surprised how high them guys can go.
