Coonhounds or bust! heh
the wife watches this..
I loathe all the frufru.
I’d rather watch field trials...
heh, I’d just rather take them hunting :)
I will admit though, I love dogs.
Dachshunds rule!!!!! I can’t wait until Biscuit gets up so I can tell him.
Non Sporting group was some of the best judging I’ve seen at Westminster ever. Group judge could not have gone wrong no matter who was chosen, very nice group.
Looking forward to the Working Group tonight.
my 2 brittanys(they are aunt[fixed] and nephew) have good field stock parentage....a friend breeds those dogs and hunts them....
ours, are just pets....if I were younger I might take them afield...I love to watch them point.
No bulldogs, not much of a show.
But for true love, give me a pound pup any day!
Seem to be a lot of dachshund owners on FR.
I picked 1st & 2nd place in the Toy group, so I thought the judging was good there, too. :~ )
Love that Dalmation, winner in a strong group. I thought the herding group was weak.. Hopefully in the near future, breeders will turn their attention to breeding better dogs.
Yes, beautiful Dalmation
I thought the Hound group was strong...though I didn’t agree with the judge’s choice for winner. And I love wirehaired dachshunds. But, I’m not there in the ring, and I’m not a judge, so .....
I thought the wire was a good looking dog but didn’t give the best performance. At this level I guess I expect perfect performances.
My WESTIE and SCOTTIE will be sitting by my chair tonight eating popcorn and rooting for their respective ‘cousins’ during the TERRIER selection phase.
Good grief, what is that creature in the top pic? I just can’t think of something like that as a dog.
Now, the Shepherd on the other hand....glad to see a real dog was appreciated.
“Good grief, what is that creature in the top pic?”
It’s a Tribble.
LOL, I’ll buy that!
well, enjoy your dogs, they are a blessing of that I am convinced.
I heard on the radio today that Martha Stewart’s dog won the competition, I cringed.
