Activists Fight Green Projects, Seeing U.N. Plot
NY Times ^ | February 3, 2012 | Leslie Kaufman and Kate Zernike

Across the country, activists with ties to the Tea Party are railing against all sorts of local and state efforts to control sprawl and conserve energy. They brand government action for things like expanding public transportation routes and preserving open space as part of a United Nations-led conspiracy to deny property rights and herd citizens toward cities.

Oh, those wacky conspiracy-minded TeaPartiers! Another quote from the article:

"In some cases, the protests have not been large, but they are powerful because officials are concerned about the Tea Party."

Be afraid. Be very, very afraid!

As anyone save for NPR drones actually read (and believe) the NYT?

Always remember...”journalists” are in a desparate contest with “educators” to lower the IQ bar as much as possible so that they can crawl under it.

"Control sprawl" is code for "destroy individual property rights."

Peasants who "own" property have the right to pay taxes on that property. Period.

Without reading the article, it must be Agenda 21.

You don’t say!! Wacky (and extremely dangerous I’ll bet) conspiracy Tea Party nuts, where have I heard it before? Oh yeah from Big Sis.

I don’t see these two authors trying to explain why it is the UN bureaucrats’ jobs to set control on these things, in other words, they did a super lousy job of explaining it.

Aren’t they (UN thugs) too busy to maintain “World Peace”? That’s their first and only job after all, isn’t it?

We made enough noise about the ‘agenda 21’ plan here in Maine, our newly elected governor got rid of it. His money quote;

“We need more paving and less planning”

Without reading the article, it must be Agenda 21.

Agenda 21 is worse than most people realize. The pot of gold at the end of that particular utopian rainbow is the elimination of a sizeable portion of the world's population and the fencing in of the rest. The 'circle cities' outlined in some portions of the plan will become little more than containment for human cattle.
