I lived in California when the idea was floated to make use of spare bedrooms for homeless and seasonal workers. Mature citizens who’s children are grown and gone are being greedy if they don’t make use of their extra space and spare bath.
Just shoot them and take their property. It worked wonders in Russia, China, and Cambodia.
Or, as George Bernard Shaw suggested, have them appear before a board, once a year, to explain why they should be allowed to live. If they can’t provide a good reason, then shoot them. At least they’d receive a fair trial.
The only thing worse than CW2 would be an irreversible slide into totalitarian tyranny, which might be as hard to escape as that in Cuba or North Korea.
The UK and parts of continental Europe have become really scary in the past decade or so. Have you seen this thread?

It’s the same liberals who act as ‘food police’ trying to get everyone to give up enjoyment of food so they can tack on an extra 6 months in a nursing home ... There’s something very twisted about liberals.

This has already been addressed on previous threads. There is a lack of housing in the UK, and unlike the United States, there is no more room build more. Their population density is approaching Japans, and you just can’t build a big a bigger island.
The hysteria on FR is reaching epic proportions, and critical thinking is at an all time low.
