Don't think we have a mix here. Lots of exp here with these types of dogs. To me, appears to be a classic Staffordshire Terrier type. IME, they tend to be most the loyal and family friendly of this type. There are some exceptions due to bad breeding, poor caretaking/abuse/social exposure, and other external factors, but the rule holds true broadly.

Not seeking to dredge up and relive wacky PB Type dogs wars here on FR, just sharing my experience in view of the nice story of the recovered safe-and-sound-child.

Too often these missing young child reports turn tragic. This was a rewarding read this am, I thought.

And not a hint of Politics!

I absolutely agree! You can tell he is a loving dog because of the way he interacted with the neighbors. Plus, the article never mentioned that there was a problem when rescue workers found the little girl (meaning he didn’t growl or become extremely protective against the strangers). He certainly deserves a big steak!
