I have a Taurus .357 and am displeased with it. Every once in awhile it seems to “miss,” and I have never been able to figure out why. I cycle through (another great advantage of revolvers... You need only one hand to cycle through...) but there seems to be something fundamentally wrong design wise with the piece. I would like to purchase a Ruger SP101 next I am stateside... I am thrilled with my Ruger 30-06 Mark 77, my Ruger .22 mini carbine, and my Ruger Red Label 12ga over-under! Also please send a mini-30 for the Holidays!

I'll see what I can arrange. :p

I'd rather get ya a PTR91 over a Mini30. The 7.62x51(.308win) gives you a whole lot more power and reach than with the 7.62x39. Military surplus parts for the PTR91 are highly available and inexpensive(HK91/G3 parts). Then again, ammo for the x39 practically grows on trees, so it's cheap shootin'. PTR91 isn't exactly what I would call a plinker either, if you were just looking for something to have fun with. I totally love mine, but I don't associate it much with 'fun' due to many days with a sore shoulder. lol
