Can’t beat the original. Can’t be improved.
I'm bummed out -- I just sold my mil-spec 1911. Couldn't afford to shoot it anymore, though, and even if I could finding ammo is sometimes difficult. My wife was also a bit afraid of it.
I now have a tactical 12-guage for HD, and for the range a Walther P22 and a SIG 522. My wife and I both love shooting them -- love 'em -- but miss the sound and feel of my hand cannon...
