I am a dye in the wool Green Bay Packers fan, but what I saw tonight was one of the most impressive things I have seen all year. I am not switching allegances, but Good Luck to Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers. You are an inspiration.

Coach of the year should be unanimous

The Saints turned the ball over FIVE times. They should not even have been close, but indeed do give kudos to the 49 ers. Very physical team, but I think the bye week really made them a fresher team than the Saints.

Hope the Pack can prevail tomorrow and host the 9ers next week. If they do play, I can guarantee you the Packers will not turn the ball over 5 times.

Those 9’er d-backs can flat out cover people.
I am in AWE of Harbaugh at the end, especially. The standard, NFL safe play there at the end was to do NOTHING RISKY, like throwing for a TD over the middle, but to settle for the FG. Man, what a call, and what execution!
Horrible town; great FB team.

Great game. I thought for sure SF was going to get clobbered. They were nothing but awesome.

And many people though Harbaugh’s rah-rah college enthusiasm wouldn’t translate to the NFL. However, playing at Lambeau Field will not be as welcoming as Candlestick Park. Go Pack!

They barely won with 5 turnovers. They’re done next week.

Heh - I'm a dyed-in-the-wool 49ers fan who didn't enjoy seeing our team lose several big games to Favre and the Pack in the '90s. That catch by Vernon Davis a few minutes ago was the biggest TD in that endzone since Terrell Owens caught Steve Young's winning TD pass in the '98 playoffs against the Packers.

This is the result the Packers was rooting for...last year we won all road games in an improbable march to the championship. Tomorrow will decide.

And crush people - that hit Donte Whitner laid down on Pierre Thomas was impressive.

Never score the go-ahead points in the fourth quarter with morethan 15 to 20 seconds left, as defense has apparently been outlawed late in the game.

Since apparently DirecTV couldn’t come to agreement with the local Fox affiliate, that game was not available in this household.
But there’s one on CBS right now.

Yeah I remember the ice bowls against Dallas in the mid 60’s

Lambeau in not a nice place this time of year.

That was a dam entertaining game. No way the Bronc-Pats game lives up to this Saint-49 game.

Yes, I could see the scoring updates online.

Amazing game by both teams.

Saints showed their resilience by coming back after all those turnovers.

Alex Smith showed he is a first rate qb by coming back in the 4th quarter and winning the game.

As a Giant fan, I am glad that if we win against the Packers we won't have to face the Saints in their dome.

But whoever has to play the 49er's is going to have a battle on their hands!

I was at two playoff games at the ‘Stick’ when the Pack took it to your 9ers. The NFC Championship game before the Packs second Superbowl in 98 was a great game, terrible cold rain, and a great Packers victory.

As fas as Owens catch goes, everyone knows Jerry Rice fumbled a couple plays before, so the 9ers were lucky to even have the chance to make that throw.

Hope the Pack can prevail tomorrow and freeze the 9ers next week,.

I don’t think those bye weeks help much. I remember a few years ago, the Detroit Tigers swept through the division and league series, and had to wait 10 days or so for the World Series. They were all rested up, they were the team to beat, but they came out flat, and never recovered.
