As many of you know, "The Savage Nation" used to air in its entirety in Washington, DC on 730AM - WTNT.
Since January 1st, 2012, the first live hour of the show (6-7pm) has been replaced by "The Armstrong Williams Show" (which is taped). At 7:06pm, Dr. Savage and "The Savage Nation" returns to the WTNT airwaves. So therefore, Armstrong's show lasts only one hour.
This makes me MAD because WTNT removed Dr. Savage from the first live hour (6-7pm), which is the MOST IMPORTANT HOUR OF THE SHOW -- aside from the fact that it's the one hour where 99% of his DC-area fans are in the middle of rush-hour traffic, and the only thing that keeps us SANE is "The Savage Nation".

I think the problem is ratings. I read a couple months ago that Savage is suffering from rapidly declining ratings. You will find that the radio business is brutal and sliding ratings will get you thrown off the air fast. Ad dollars trump everything.

WOKV in Jacksonville dropped Savage a few months back. They will not reconsider. There aren’t any stations close enough now, got to use the computer..
I think Savage has been tumbling for awhile now. Good riddance to the narcissistic blowhard. Now if Glenn Beck would also go away…

Right, I’ve listened to Dr. Savage. I have a life which doesn’t involve listening to someone yelling through radio speakers into my home.
Do you have a smart phone? If you have a huge or unlimited data plan your sure to find a station that streams him live.
They moved Levin in my market to 11PM. He had always been taped delayed. it’s just 3 hours later now.
I use Sirius sat radio but Savage is not on sat radio.

I agree with a lot of what he has to say but when he starts harping on western caucasian men and how they are “afraid to settle down” due to “immaturity” and “pleasure seeking” I want to come through the radio and strangle the guy!!
Obviously he has NEVER EVER gone through the family court system, whereby western caucasian men are viewed as disposable wallets. They lose half of everything plus are thrown into indentured servitude for the next 21 years by the divorce industry. Only three states now end child support at 18 without caveat. So you marry, you breed and then the mom alienates the children from you, plays with your visitation time with no legal repercussions, yet has a strangle hold on your wallet pretty much permanently.
Yeah that’s an incentive to “settle down” alright! I tell my 24 yr old son who is in the Air Force, not to rush into things or be too eager to have children.
Plus, I like Savage because he reminds me of my father. I like a strong, male voice with structure. Keeps me on my toes...
