Thanks for providing the address, to make it easier.

No problem.

The more I think about it, the angrier I get. Colmes' hero, Barack Hussein Obama, couldn't find it in his heart to vote for the Illinois version of the Infant Born Alive Act. The federal version of that Act said that if, during an abortion, an infant managed to avoid the "doctor's" scissors and somehow escape into free air, he'd be afforded all of the protections of our Constitution. Seems reasonable, no?

Obama, although he used a lot of weasel words, basically had said that if a woman comes to a hospital with the expectation of aborting her baby, he doesn't believe the government should do anything to sever the relationship between the woman and her doctor.

In other words, Obama, and, by extension, Colmes, are perfectly okay with taking that living baby and sticking him or her on a shelf in the laundry room until he or she dies of neglect. THAT is okay, but Rick Santorum's act of bringing his deceased infant home so that he and his family can grieve and get closure--THAT'S crazy! We have completely entered Bizarro World, and there is no Superman there to rescue us.

I recently met someone who used to work at Fox and said that Alan Colmes is an extremely nice guy. I GUESS maybe that could be true, but be that as it may, this was totally beyond the pale. I know he called and spoke to the Santorums to apologize personally, but honestly, if he had a decent bone in his body he’d be embarrassed to show his face ever again.

At one time in this country, it was perfectly OK to have your wake at home with the casket in the living room. The grieving family was seated in chairs around the room accepting visitors and condolences.

I recall seeing The Wake in our local theater starring Steve Allen and Jayne Meadows....awesome play. The casket was, of course, in the living room. Very funny play, by the way.
