The incidence of birth defects for a pairing of brother and sister is 0.00015 or 15 out of one hundred thousand. serious genetic complications start showing up in the forth generation of inbreeding siblings, the seventh generation of inbreeding first cousins.

Keep in mind that every last one of us are cousins to one degree or another.
