I cannot speak specifically for Leukemia, but I can say that the best place in the world for any "difficult" or rare cancer is MD Anderson in Houston.

Either self apply, or get the doctors you are working with to apply.

I had a very rare (approximately 1 in 2-3 million) sacral chordoma requiring the removal of my entire sacrum and the rebuild of my pelvic ring. Without it, it would have been fatal.

I was at MD Anderson for 3 months and 3 very radical and long surgeries...38 hours of surgery altogether over a couple of week time span.

I then had three months of very intensive rehab. My last surgery was 18 months ago and I am slowly improving and have now lived to see two more grandchildren born (we have altogether now).
