Bali and Java people smoke like demons... clove cigarettes are popular. But since they have little money the new law is merely revenue enhancement by "fining" tourists.

In all practice it is just another revenue stream for the most corrupt police force in the world. $5.00 for the cop's pocket and you're good.

We can all live side by side in harmony, but only if nobody intrudes upon each others’ rights. Smokers have right to smoke whatever they please and not be harassed by others. And I have right not to be assaulted by toxic fumes being blown on my face.

I hate those chimneys and stoners who blow off smoke at my face in public places, but if they do within the confinement of their own houses/rooms/cars, I don’t care. Also, their future cancer/cardiovascular care should not be footed by the taxpayers either.
