Yacht captain blames Robert Wagner for Natalie Wood’s death [Updated]
A yacht captain claimed Friday that he lied to investigators about Natalie Wood’s mysterious death 30 years ago and that he blames the actress’ husband at the time, Robert Wagner, for her drowning in the ocean off Southern California.
The former captain of the boat alleged on the “Today” show Friday that Wood’s husband, actor Robert Wagner, was responsible for her death.
Dennis Davern said he is now urging homicide investigators to look into Wood’s death.

The story is tha Wagner pushed her into the drink and made people wait to call the Coast Guard.

didn't sound like fighting, just a loud drunken party.
Seemed like a lot more people than the 5 mentioned were on that boat partying.

Robert Wagner is NOT a suspect, according to the LA police.

Natalie Wood and Michelle Pfieffer are my top-2 hollywood beauties of all time. In that order. "Inside daisy Clover" was one of her hidden jewels that rarely gets mentioned.

When I was in college, I had a bigger than life full color cardboard movie cut out of Natalie in her Gypsy Rose Lee costume on my wall .

In L.A. they cannot even convict O.J.... Well, if they get an all minority, mostly black jury like the did for O.J., I'm sure they'll be able to convict the Whitey.

We were there that night and there was a wild drunken party on that boat. If true, I would think you'd be a person of interest (not a suspect but for questioning, possibly as a witness).

Another drunken drowning. The official story is, she got loaded and swallowed a bunch of valiums, took a dive in the pool and broke her neck. I have nothing to go on. The story just never sat right with me.

There are more “industry” folks on FR than most people realize.

There are more industry folks on FR than most people realize. I don't know how you know that but I've wondered if people like Cain care about what goes on here. (Good, thoughtful ideas are often floated here, stuff a conservative POTUS candidate like Herman Cain could benefit from I think.)

Boy this story that goes back 30 years seems to have struck a nerve. I think it’s because, really, these are people you care about I think.
