Only two options make sense here. He hasn’t been fired yet because ...
1) he is covered by some whistle blowers law.
2) he has enough info to bring down the entire university.
Well, at least its a step in the right direction. This guy witnessed a child getting raped and did nothing other than run home to daddy.
He came into the locker room, caught Sandusky in the act, and did...Nothing. He walked on out of the room.
99% of people would have busted Sandusky's jaw if they walked in on that. This guy was too much of a friggin coward.
I think it's both. I think 20 years ago, seasoned adults thought the world was going to hell. It's just that it keeps finding ways to get worse.
I couldn't care less about football, pro or college. But this story depresses me nonetheless. It reinforces the sense I have that there is a dark cloud hanging over us, and that instead of the sun poking through, it keeps getting darker.
The only optimistic note I can hit is that the sooner you hit rock bottom, the sooner you can start climbing out of it. I believe that taken as a whole, we deserve it all. The economic woes, the cultural woes.
I believe that when you tempt "Nature and Nature's God", you get the wrath. It's probably a cyclical part of Nature, like wildfires and droughts and ice ages. Just a part of the clockwork of the Universe.
Sold his soul for a mess of portage.
Not fair. Why are Joe Paterno and the others gone or facing charges and he is getting a slap on the wrist? This smells.
Duplicate thread.
How stupid does the school think people are that believe the entire coaching staff didn't know what was going on?
The janitors knew!
Penn State will not play anymore games after this one, it cannot go on the road and it certainly cannot play in a BCS bowl.
It is the most hated institution in America today.
